Christina Kiel, Psy.D (Clinical Psychologist)

Dr. Kiel received a Doctorate in Clinically Psychology in 2004 from California School of Professional Psychology- San Diego. She began her career in a hospital setting working with severely mentally ill patients. In 2010, Dr. Kiel opened her own private practice working with both adults and children. During this time, Dr. Kiel began to shift her practice from a “what’s wrong” approach to a more positive practice of building on each individuals’ unique strengths and positive attributes.

Here's a little bit more about me & my story.

Hi, my name is Jen James and I am Registered Yoga Teacher (e-200 hrs & 500 hrs) with over 15 years experience teaching yoga, pain management and stress relief to many sizes, shapes & abilities PLUS a Certified Health & Wellness Coach that has overcome many eating disorders and digestive issues.

I am a former bulimic and binge/emotional eater (on & off for over 20 years) and then, about a year ago, I started eating a grain free/no sugar, low carb and high healthy fat eating lifestyle plan.  I truly believe that years of unhealthy eating may have caused my food sensitivities.  By eating this new way for me, along with journaling, practicing yoga, mindfulness meditation and positive affirmations I noticed that my cravings have changed considerably, and my brain fog and exhaustion went away.  I feel inside & out, light and health.

Through this journey, I have developed a Program called "End Emotional Eating".
